After reading the review I have called and left a voice-mail for yourself on the telephone to discuss this further, we have held an internal investigation to see what we could have done better relating to your comments.

Reference: The valves you ordered.

First of all we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. While you searched for a TRV4 valve, a type of thermostatic valves sold by Drayton, Google/Bing also provide results that they deem similar to the product you were looking for to give you more choice.

Unfortunately there is no guarantee that every search result contains the exact product you were looking for. You ordered our 001-style valve, which is similar in design to the Drayton TRV4.

We do not presently sell Drayton, nor brand our valves as such, so what you bought was not a copy of a Drayton valve, as you assumed, but a genuine Radiator Valves 4u product. The design of the valve is a simple, popular style, variations of which can be found from many suppliers, hence the confusion. Our 001 valve is indeed a thermostatic (TRV) valve, with most of the same features as theDrayton TRV4, such as a bi-directional valve body and a liquid sensor, and additionally we offer our 001 valve a 6-yearmanufacturer's warranty, instead of the 1-year warranty TRV4s have.

We would be keen to discus this further with you and help you resolve any challenges with the valve you have purchased. Rest assured our aim is not to deceive our customers, as we offer our own range of high-quality, carefully chosen products.

.As discussed in our conversation this morning, this has been passed to our technical team to look at the design of the valve to see if any improvements can be made.
This has also been passed to our marketing department to look at a better description of the product along with new images.
