We know of no CFL lamp for sale in the U.K that is not made in China. The lamp you received is not as you state a 'cheap chinese knock off'. We offer a comprehensive returns procedure for any defective item and only supply the best quality items we can. The amount of time and expense dealing with returned defective items means it is counter productive for us to offer a comprehensive returns procedure and then sell inferior products. As i understand your defective lamp was excahnged for you. I will try to contact you tomorrow to discus how you feel our returns procedure could be easier for you.

If you did operate a comprehensive returns policy then it would be counter productive to sell inferior products. However on the flip side if you sell inferior products then you want a poor returns policy. It has taken me 2 phone calls and some emails and 30 mins + of my time and 8 days to get a £22 bulb replaced. You should provide a returns form with the order, that would eliminate most of the problems. Though the delivery of the new light was good I haven't tested it yet. I was never contacted to discuss returns procedure. PS You shouldn't have comments available if you don't want people to leave them,
