Thanks for the 5 stars and for your loyal custom, we do appreciate it, but out of interest I had a look back, 5th Feb 2005 you had a Panasonic TX21AP2 TV the old glass tubed type from us costing £235, 8 years to the day 5th Feb 2013 you had a LCD TV Panasonic TX32E5B from us costing £400, then 4th Feb 2025 12 years later you have just had the TX32N30AEY costing £199.90, so in the last 20 years this is the cheapest and if you take inflation into account you really start to see why our trade is so crazy but sadly you are right things are made cheaper, trouble is if a Panasonic now was £999 for a 32" TV people wouldn't buy them & without the history of buying TV's young people think £200 is a lot to spend on a TV, yet 20% of that value goes to the Gov in VAT, we have to buy them in, so retailers are also working on less and less margin when our own costs are going up and up - such is our trade - anyhow we are still here and it's because of loyal customers like you so thanks for shopping local & I understand it's not us you are blaming but I just wanted to explain why things aren't as well made it's only when you really look at it you realise just how cheap electricals have actually become - great value but sadly something has to give. Kindest Regards Rob Hyland
