Cannot pay on line at time of booking. Received a brochure that we did not request or want. Also received a wine brochure, so contact details must have been passed on. Not impressed.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to comment.
Unfortunately, we don't currently have the facility to pay online because with over 600+ properties included in our portfolio there are a great number of variations as to what is acceptable at each property. In order to provide the most flexible service for both our homeowners and holidaymakers, and to protect both from errors, we find it easiest for us here in the office to quickly scan through each booking prior to confirming them. This ensures that a guest has not mistakenly booked their small children into a house where they are not accepted, or their dogs into a house that doesn't take them, which does happen on occasion.
I'm sorry if you found receiving our brochure presumptuous. We know a lot of people enjoy receiving them but please do get in touch and we will, of course, hold back from sending you any more. I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you mean by a wine brochure. We do include a special voucher as a gift in our own correspondence with our valued customers, but please do rest assured that we do not ever pass on your details to third parties. The one exception is Feefo itself, so that they may send you the email requesting feedback.
I really am so sorry to hear that you weren't pleased with the service you received but hope this goes some way towards explaining.
As said, we're very happy to stop sending brochures and other mailings if you would prefer. I hope this hasn't put you off booking with us and that you enjoy your holiday.
