In this case your parcel was a small order that was light enough to go by Royal Mail first class letter post, though for the majority of orders we do use the more expensive couriers for both speed and security. We consider the shoes to be priced very fairly, considering the premium percentage extra we have to pay to get these larger sizes made. As you say, they look nothing special, just honest down to earth practical comfortable leather shoes exactly as described. As for shipping, our standard shipping cost for quick delivery (2/3days) is £5.00. You chose premium Service,and ordered several hours after the shipping time on a Thursday, but your goods were shipped out early Friday morning and were delivered by courier to your door on Monday at 13.12. Just point to remember, the actual Royal mail cost for basic shipping would be £5.37 plus Packaging approx £1 Plus insurance, so we consider our £5 charge to be very fair indeed. Mike Reynolds
