We responded promptly to your emails and phone calls, sent out a replacement side rail for the bed, and provided a wax care kit to help resolve minor transit-related marks. When you raised concerns about the colour, we explained that all of our solid wood furniture is made from unique, natural timber, and therefore some variation in tone and wax absorption is to be expected. We also supplied examples to help reassure you that both items were indeed finished in the Smoke Pine wax you selected.
As a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience, we offered a 10% discount code for your next purchase, which you used on the matching bedside table. When you later raised further concerns about colour variation, we offered to either send another wax care kit or collect and refund the bedside table—options which we didn’t hear back on.
