Thank you for your feedback. It appears that we have failed miserably in offering even a basic level of service at pretty much every opportunity given to us. Please be assured that the saga you have been through is in no way representative of the high levels of service we usually offer our customers. I am so sorry that we have been unable to supply the Talking Alarm Clock and and I appreciate your disappointment in not being able to provide this for the 80th Birthday. When we originally took your order the stock allocation system showed a clock in stock and sent an email advising you of this, but unfortunately when the stock was checked there was physically non on the shelf. As we are unable to obtain fresh supplies we had no alternative but to refund you for the clock. Please be assured that the saga you have been through is in no way representative of the high levels of service we usually offer our customers and we are sorry that we could not fulfil your order on this occasion. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by this mix up. Our warehouse staff and suppliers are generally very accurate indeed so I must apologise that we have inadvertently sent you the incorrect item. We do take measures to ensure that mistakes of this nature are kept to a minimum but sadly human error does intervene. Thank you for your email and I am so sorry that your order didn't arrive with in the time frame you specified and paid for. I can fully appreciate your disappointment. I have of course refunded the postal charge, as we clearly did not meet our service promise on this occasion. This was most certainly not up to our usual standards; normally when we give a delivery timescale we stick to it and indeed in most cases parcels arrive sooner than promised. I am gravely concern that your emails were not answered.
