Interesting products, but very expensive!

I wish I could say that we are making a good living out of what we do, but we are not - our mark ups are quite small!
Many of our products are NOT made in China, and I am afraid this does make them more expensive.
The Stirling Engine Kit and the Hand Spectroscope Kit are made by a small company in Germany; the Sicherman Dice are made for us here in the UK, and the Magnetic Field Paper we import from the USA.
The one item you thought was affordable - the Pop Eyes - is (you guessed) mass produced in China!
We choose to source many of our products from small companies and 'men in sheds' because this makes them really unusual, partly because they are made in such small quantities. But items made in Europe and the USA have people who need to make something apprximating to a Western salary, not the kind of wages currently being paid in China. And this does make them more expensive.
Please be assured that is the reason, not because we are ripping you off.

Excellent service so close to Christmas. They phoned me straight after I placed the order to make sure they could get the order to me the next day. They even seem to have found a helpful courier...

Excellent service, great attention to the costumers
I am sorry but the Pseudoscopic effect is an elusive one. Some people can see it, others find it hard or cannot see it at all. We used to sell a very high quality optically perfect pseudoscope, which was around £750. About half the people who received one could see the effect. At least with this product, you have not spent too much money.
Maybe you could get a few friends and colleagues to have a look, and see what they say? It requires good stereo vision, but also your brain can sometimes reject the pseudoscopic image - Professor Richard Gregory could not see pseudoscopic images, his brain rejected them.
But if you do see it, the effect is amazing. Apparently. My stereo vision is not very good, so I have never seen it. It does work. But only for some people.
