I assume that you are talking about the mobile website when you say "basic and not very inviting". The full website when viewed using a desktop computer or tablet has loads of functionality but we decided to make the mobile website plain and simple so that people could use it easily and quickly. That was a conscious decision because if you put too much onto a mobile website the screen doesn't look good; you can't see things properly; and the images take a long time to load.
