We can confirm that the cover you have taken out will cover for any road cycling in Europe including training camps, excluding competitions and events. We note that you took out our annual policy yet according to your itinerary your trip was just for 3 days. If that is your only trip this year, the single trip policy would have cost just £8.84 which we think is good value. The annual policy however will allow you to make as many trips to Europe as you want in a year, of up to 90 days each, including cover for any of the sports that we list in our group 1. If you contact us in advance next time, we would be happy to look at the most cost effective option for you.

We have the perfect cover option for people like yourself, as long as you have general travel insurance,(through your bank account for example), which covers your whole trip. Our Activity TopUp policy, which is described and can be selected from the home page of our website, just needs to be taken out for the day(s) that you are doing a sport that is not covered under your main policy. The sporting activity is the "risky" bit of your trip. If you are doing the sport for the whole of your trip, then the price would be the same as our Sports Travel bronze cover, but with Activity Topup you only need to select the dates that you are doing the sport / activity, which brings the price down if those dates are less than the whole trip length. That being said, I see your total trip length is 10 days. As our travel policy prices are based on trip lengths of 3,5,7, then 10 days etc, the price would only go down if you are doing your sport for 7 days or less. If it is a knock-out competition, you could always take out Activity TopUp for the minimum no. of days that you believe you will be in the competition, and extend the cover whilst you're over there if /when you make it through to later rounds.
