Good morning, Following telephone conversations you have had with our office; I am sorry to hear you feel you have been let down by us. Firstly from speak to your insurance company and checking with the MID I can now see your vehicles are on the Database and do now show as insured, I can see that you went on cover at around midday on the 26th of May and the insurers sent you their MID login on the 27th at 8am and you submitted vehicles to them on the same day. Your insurers then sent your vehicles to the MID that evening; and meant they were showing on the MID from the 28th. I appreciate there was a 48hr period in which your vehicles were not showing on the MID; however this is a better than standard turnaround as policies have to be created and vehicles sent to the MID. Also please be aware that you and insurers have 14 days in which to put vehicles on the MID, so you should not have had your vehicle(s) impounded or towed, a cover note confirming cover should be sufficient evidence for the police. We can understand your frustrations but it is very unfortunate for this to happen straight after starting the policy and we feel both ourselves and your insurer have acted as efficiently as the MID procedures allow. We have attempted to contact you regarding your money back and to discuss this further; but have so far been unsuccessful.
