Your renewal was invited with Eridge Insurance based on the same information and terms the you previously provided. Post your renewal transaction, your insurer carried out a check of your MID record. They found an excess of 10 vehicles listed. Our renewal invitation letter does confirm an MID cap is in place unless otherwise agreed. Eridge believe 10 vehicles is an adequate limit for the needs of traders working from home using a motor trade road risk only policy. As your broker we did our best to resolve the situation. Unfortunately you felt Eridge’s requests for further details were unreasonable. You were unwilling to provide the additional documents/info. Subsequently we have actioned your request to cancel. We believe this is an accurate summary of events and hope that you will reconsider your rating of our service.
