The visit on the 5th December represented the first time a British Prime Minister has visited John Smedley in our 235 year history, and we appreciate the British government taking an interest in British manufacturing in this way.The visit does not symbolise an allegiance to any political party.Our staff very much enjoyed having the opportunity to share their views and questions with the Prime Minister directly as well.
