Following the fact that you were sent documents, signed those documents and returned them, you are then required to pay a cancellation charge should you decide you no longer want the car.
The process had gone as far as reservation of the car, a full mechanical check and valet. The funder had also processed your order.
You never actually paid the £500 cancellation fee as advised by a team leader. You’ll find most, if not all finance and credit agreements will have a cancellation charge.
