Nice walk along upper Thames, Goring to Staines.

Contours should have notified us in advance of major diversions in place along this walk. We might have chosen a different path.

As diversions regularly change, we highly recommend (and provide links to) the National Trail website to help our customers assess the trail - this is the most up-to-date resource around. We're glad you enjoyed the trail otherwise, and thank you for leaving a review.

Thank you very much for writing a review. We regret to read of the issue with the room at Goring; we're glad it was resolved with an upgrade. Please do keep in touch with feedback via our in-depth feedback form, as we'd appreciate the opportunity to chase up the issues with dietary requirements you encountered along the way - we hate to think anyone's walking on a less-than-full stomach! Regarding diversions, we provide comprehensive links to the most up-to-date resources with our holiday materials so you can check all current diversions and other trail changes. This is the most reliable way we can provide this information, as trail conditions can change by the day. We advise all our walkers to save those links and reference them frequently in the buildup to and during your walk. Thank you again for providing a review, and we're glad you enjoyed your walk.

We're glad to hear our service worked well for your walk along the West Highland Way. We regret that we're not able to post materials internationally at this time; we do provide access to a complete GPX file for our walks, so there is some ability to peek at the route ahead of time.

While there are a lot of well-known reasons to buy a local SIM when travelling abroad, this is a pretty novel one! We're glad our out-of-hours staff were able to smooth out the issue and connect you to the taxi firm. Thank you very much for writing a review.

Great service attitude at Contours and their logistic partner

very dedicated and good service; everything worked out well; contours logistics agents actually managed to mitigate the problems I got by airline and airport who delayed my flight luggage for 2 days

Thank you for providing such a detailed review of your walk. We're glad you enjoyed the experience and that our staff were excellent throughout. We regret the bizarre incompatibility issue with your card and our payment platform; we do take regular bookings from Belgian customers without the problem, so we're still not quite sure what went wrong here, but we apologise for the inconvenience and we'll definitely keep looking into it.
