Dear Julie Thank you for travelling with us and for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your trip and your food allergies were looked after. The French Way route is extremely popular, as a result accommodation might be booked up months in advance for some of the stages, particularly in the busiest months (May, June, September). Unfortunately in some towns, the upgrade option might be limited to one or two properties. If these are booked up, our only and we believe best option is to book with our standard accommodation and offer clients a refund for those nights. However, we can't issue a refund until we know for sure, and this can take a bit of time. We are unsure what you mean when you mention 'I did not get my hotel reservations at that time due to 'holidays', as we have staff working in the office 6 days a week, regardless of public holidays, etc...
