Hi Meredith, Thank you for sharing these comments with us. We rely on honest feedback to continually improve our services, so everything you've shared above will be taken into account so we can better our travelers' experiences in the future. On behalf of our entire team, I apologize that our service did not live up to your expectations. We have had a chance to review this internally, including a discussion with Stephanie, your Personal Travel Specialist, and Gracie, our Groups & Special Events Manager, and would like to respond to these issues. We do agree that the driver guide initially assigned was ill-equipped and understand how disappointing and undoubtedly frustrating this was. As soon as we were made aware, we worked as quickly as possible to arrange for a new one to replace him. We hoped your next driver would be a great match, and we're sorry to hear he did not provide as much information as you were hoping! This has been noted for future tours. We were also made aware that the vehicle did have seatbelts that were difficult to operate—we will say they are not like US seatbelts—but was told the driver was able to correct all of them except for one. With every trip of ours, a huge goal is to make our travelers feel at-ease and that safety is a top priority, so we hate to hear you feel the vehicle wasn't up to par and apologize. Again, we've noted this for the future. We now know that the Connage Highland Dairy Farm and the Knockando Woolen Mill were closed on Sunday, and we thank you for sharing this with us. While you didn't express interest in visiting these, they still should not be listed as option excursions for a day excursion if closed. We also don't want our travelers feeling as if our suggestions are cut-and-paste, as we truly recommend stops we think are of interest to the specific traveler. We are sorry to hear about the confusion on the tour ending in Glasgow. Your trip with us was booked on October 16, and on October 15, we understand you purchased a train ticket from Glasgow to Edinburgh, which made our team believe that you were aware it would end in Glasgow. In April, we requested your independent hotel information in Glasgow and Edinburgh, so again we were under the impression you were aware of the last stop. This is clearly a miscommunication and we could perhaps have provided more information! We apologize for the hectic ending of the trip. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of any road closures that day. Ultimately, we are grateful you enjoyed your time in Scotland and that these issues did not overshadow your experiences. Thank you for leaving us detailed feedback so we can improve!

All of your feedback about the drivers, guides and accommodations are so welcome, and we love to hear the people you met truly made the trip! In terms of flexibility and/or providing credit for itinerary changes, we would love to know more! While we know someone from your group unfortunately had a change of plans about a month out from the trip and was unable to go, and then we were working to add a new guest around 7 days prior to departure (which ultimately wasn't successful due to a travel document issue), we aren't otherwise aware of any activity changes you were hoping to make. Generally, we do our best to accommodate these changes, the only issue would be availability at said tours/activities. We are sorry to hear the provided tours may have not been perfectly suited for your group.
