We do not buy any packaging for filler inside tanks such as this, the plastic you are referring to will have been re-used from a delivery sent to us. It is necessary to 'fill out' a tank like this sent on its own to prevent any crush damage, im sorry you feel it excessive and that you had problems recycling the plastic.
Progrow purchased their own cardboard shredder so we can recycle cardboard boxes and use them as padding, typically this is used but on this occasion plastic from an order sent to us was used to pad out your tank.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused and be assured we are conscious of our environmental impact.
