In the above reply, we assumed that, because you had already been in touch with us and we had successfully organised a replacement order delivered to you, it was clear we had taken the issue seriously and were handling it directly with the courier on your behalf. We apologise if that wasn’t communicated clearly. The suggestion was meant to read, if you wish to contact them alongside our intervention in the future, as an additional precaution to ensure safe arrival, not to place the responsibility on you. We completely understand your point that the courier contract is ours, not yours, and I’m sorry that our suggestion came across otherwise. We’re pleased that the replacement order arrived safely and appreciate your patience while we resolved this. When issues arise, we always aim to sort them quickly.
