Rya code in special instructions that doesn't exist
Pinnel and bax have all the best products but they have tricked me every single time with the Rya discount and if you ask them why you couldn't get it it or leave it in the special instructions box...

We apologies for the problems you have experienced with the RYA code, our web manager is looking into this. He has also looked into the special instruction box. You are correct it is not working which is a weakness on our web site we are looking to rectify. We did try to telephone you yesterday afternoon and again this morning, the message we get is your telephone is switched off. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss any further concerns directly with you. If you would like to telephone (01604 592808) to discuss this would be helpful in assuring you we are not horrible people and like talking to our customers.

Hi Dave, Sorry for the late reply, I am working outside the UK at present which is why you have not been able to call. So this problem with your special instructions box has been a problem with your website for more than 2 years now, thats a good few quid you have saved!!! Going forward it is my own fault for being lazy and not shopping around for Zhik gear, I know P&B is very very pricey, but I still keep coming back for some reason. Good luck with your website. Regarding my Optimum Watch you just sent out for £55, its good practice to take the sticker that says £45 off the back of the box that you send out to the customer as it makes you look like you are ripping us off!!

Easy quick and friendly
Easy to do business with, a preprinted post paid return slip could make purchases easier to buy and see. I seen how my wife uses Marks & Spencer's she buys more to try and unfortunately keeps more!!

Hi Ken,

As per our phone conversation I to clarify the points raised.
The database did duplicate a couple of orders yours included, this issue has now been corrected by the company its licensed from, unfortunately this occurred over a period of time and we are working hard to make sure our customers received their orders - the charging twice was rectified immediately once the issue had been raised and when using our online system this cannot be duplicated.
Thank you for your time in raising your concern, I hope we have now explained the circumstances we look forward to trading with you in the future.

1974- Robbie Storrar and Alan Bax joined forces and created the Storrar & Bax brand, manufacturing championship winning sails, repairing boats and spars and supplying chandlery and clothing from their base in Newcastle. 1985- Ian Pinnell an already well known sailor, World, European and National Champion and a previous winner of the 'Helm Of The Year' award became partner to Alan Bax at the helm of the business. 1986- Moved the business to Talbot Road, Northampton to become a central hub for everything dinghy sailing. The then new midland base location provided perfect access across the UK with over 40 sailing clubs within a 30 mile radius. 1991- The name was changed to Pinnell & Bax - P&B to its friends - and it is this name which is now synonymous with UK sail making.
