Dear Sheila We are so sorry to hear that you have a moth problem and that so far you have not caught anything in the traps. We know how frustrating and distressing a moth infestation can be and we are very committed to helping you eliminate it. Our traps work extremely well for our customers but there are a few things that spring to mind which I have outlined below. 1. The traps only attract Clothes and Carpet Moths and will not attract other species of Moth. If you would like us to help identify what kind of moth is present in your home then please send us the image to help@moth-prevention.com 2. Depending on where the moths are in their breeding cycle you may find that there are moths flying around but they are not currently sexually active and therefore not attracted to the pheromone traps. Moths like warm dark areas where larvae can find a food source. They only get one chance to breed (they die after they mate) so they will wait for the optimum breeding conditions. 3. You may find that after a few weeks the new eggs will hatch and larvae will start to pupate, again depending on temperatures. If this is the case you might notice moth damage in your carpets and textiles - anywhere that has natural wool fibers and animal protein. Dear Michael Thank you for your feedback on our Clothes Moth Traps. Our traps will attract the sexually active adult male moths and so will not only eliminate them but will also help break the breeding cycle. There may still be moths or larvae present so we advise keeping the traps in place (once opened the strips are active for three months) in order to monitor your moth problem. The traps can be moved to different locations as long as they are between 3 - 6 ft above floor level. Best wishes Amanda
