Do keep the traps in place as they will be active for 12 weeks after opening. They can be moved to different areas where you suspect that moths may be present. These traps will enable you to monitor the extent of your moth problem, and also they will help break the breeding cycle. If you have any further concerns about the size of your infestation you may want to consider a Moth Killer Kit. Thank you for your feedback on our Pantry Moth Traps. There are several reasons that you may not be catching many moths at the moment . 1) It could be that there are not that many adult male moths that are currently actively seeking females due to their breeding cycle (only sexually active adult males are attracted to the pheromone in the traps). 2) Temperatures affect the pupation of the moths and although you can't see any flying moths there could still be eggs and larvae present, which will hatch and pupate later. 3). If you have only seen flying moths, and not found infected or damaged foodstuffs, it could be that they are not Pantry Moths. If you would like us to help you identify the type of moth you are dealing with please send us a picture to help@moth-prevention.com We very much hope that your moth problem will be solved soon. The traps work for 8 weeks after activation so we advise that you keep them in place so that you can monitor the situation. Best wishes Amanda

Dear Gaye, We received your email and responded with a reply within an hour - please do check your spam folder in case it's been dropped there. However, let me just paste the detail of our reply here for you as well - hopefully this is helpful: That is definitely an Indian Meal Moth in your picture, and as such you’ve been using the correct products. It’s worth noting that only adult males will be caught on Traps. So, if you’re only catching a few that’s good news! It means there won’t me much breeding going on, if any. Moths are tricky! So, it’s important to look elsewhere in the kitchen where they may be hiding. Behind furniture, behind baseboards of kitchen units, behind drawers etc. They are capable of getting through tiny gaps as well, so if you have a breathing brick through a void to the outside of the building they could be in there or traveling through it, or perhaps via an extractor fan … These are just some thoughts and potential places. The list can be a long one, and it's different from home to home. Please check everywhere, clean as you go, and hopefully it’ll reveal as well as fix your moth problem. Please do repeat treat as possible to continue the fight, and keep traps in place so that you can monitor for any change in moth catch-rate.

We fully appreciate the frustration of not being able to purchase the refills currently. We have taken every step to inform our customers both on our website and customer emails of the current status. Unfortunately, like many businesses, we are experiencing the fall out of a global pandemic which has affected production and delivery. This is extremely frustrating for us too! The refills are expected to be available from late December and we are doing everything we can to make sure this happens. Dear Julie, We were aware that your order didn’t get delivered to you. We did email you to confirm this as soon as FedEx confirmed that there had a been a an obstruction to delivery and shipped a replacement order Oct 13th. We did not receive any reply from you though - we hope that you received our email? Within the last 24 hours we have just learnt from FedEx that our replacement order has also failed to be delivered due to an issue with a gate outside of your property (we do not have any specific details about this)! Unfortunately your review has arrived with us before we could reach out to you. Due to our courier twice being unable to deliver we will move to refund and cancel your order. To confirm: We ship same day Monday to Friday, use FedEx for speedy tracked deliveries, but it’s important that the courier can get to your mailbox, drop off point or front door. If you are able to investigate and ensure that your address is reachable we will be very happy to take a new order from you so that our products can help you with your moth problem. Dear Irene, Thank you for your feedback. Glad to read your order arrived with you quickly. We apologise you couldn’t order the Refills you initially wanted. As stated on our Refills product page, us being out of stock is unfortunately beyond our control. But we do expect new Refills to be with us sometime in December. Please look to our Refills product page for the latest updates. Please let us reassure you that your new traps are made in the exact same way as your first batch. They are most likely not catching moths at the moment because your first batch removed all of the active male moths. Also seasonal difference will have a significant impact on capture rates too. As moths do prefer the warmer months and won’t be anywhere near as active in cooler temperatures.
