We use DPD as they offer a Age Verified delivery and in the main nationally are often voted highly as a leading UK carrier, however things can go wrong and I am sorry to read that you have experienced issues with them. I hope this has now been resolved for you.

I'm sorry you have been unhappy with the service we provided, I understand there was an initial delay and then you were unhappy that the delivery needed to be age verified, I appreciate that for a butter knife this may seem excessive however we take our responsibility as a retailer very seriously and as such must age verify any item classed as a knife.

The item was ordered in the evening on Thursday on Next Working Day delivery, our cut off is clearly shown as being 3pm, this meant that the order was dispatched Friday for delivery Monday. This information is clearly shown and it feels unfair to receive a 1 star review when your expectations weren't aligned with the delivery time frame we offer. I am pleased to see you have received the item though and are happy with it.
