Sorry to say, not happy with the jars received! I was expecting 4 jars with plastic lids for my kefir but the lids were metal with 4 pieces of material & elastic bands! ☹️

Hi,
I can only apologise but it looks like the manufacturer has changed the lids on these jars. They are however still suitable for kefir or Kombucha as the lids are plastic lined and stainless steel. We have amended the product description to reflect the new lids.
Our jars are all supplied with a brew cloth and elastic band so that you can choose between an open or closed brew as some brews (kombucha for example needs to be an open brew).

It looks like the manufacturer has changed the lids on these jars, we have now amended the product description to reflect the new lids.The jars are still suitable for Kombucha or kefir as the lids are stainless steel and plastic lined.
All of our fermenting jars come with a brew cloth and elastic band so that you have the choice of an open or closed brew.
