Good afternoon Helen -- We are sorry to learn of your experience on this occasion. The engineer who made the visit to your property has since been consulted. He did take a test aerial into the loft, which is only 12" long so may well not have been spotted. Regarding the discount offered, we would have simply bought the job to ourselves at cost to simply keep the engineer busy.
