Good afternoon Mr Smith -- We are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the service provided. Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and we take comments like yours very seriously. After consulting with the engineer who carried out the work, it was noted that there were significant underlying issues with the door and frame, including the condition of the timber and the leaning brickwork. The engineer advised on replacing the door entirely, as well as using new timber for the frame to resolve these issues. Unfortunately, we understand these recommendations were declined, and the work was completed using your existing materials. The timber had been treated so this should not be a problem regarding rot. We are also sorry to hear about the lack of follow-up communication you’ve experienced. This falls short of our service expectations so your comments will be shared with the team in due course.
