Good afternoon -- We are always happy to provide a free no obligation quotation after carrying out a full survey with no call out charge, so the only expense to a customer is their time. Generally garage doors (unless a roller door) won't come with a motor which are sold as a separate item. Obviously we complete many jobs across the week and carry a strong score on Feefo from happy customers leaving verified reviews. Great to hear you found the engineer who made the visit was helpful. As for the price, we have consulted with the technician who completed the work and it was quite a bit more than just the cable. We did the cones, cables, spindles, a door retention and door re-alignment. Please keep your emailed receipt safe as this will serve as your warranty in the event of anything happening during that period.
