Good afternoon -- We are sorry to hear of your experience on this occasion. We do aim to meet all appointment times but unfortunately from time to time we have to reschedule due to circumstances out of our control or that an engineer can simply get beaten by the clock on any given day. Also, the last thing we want is for any customers property to be left at risk or vulnerable so for this we can only apologise once again. We do hope we are competitive on price and like you say there is never any obligation and customers can explore other options should they wish but we totally understand the urgency and nature of this when a garage door is not secure. Good afternoon -- We are sorry to read this and you feel this way about our service after recently visiting your home. The engineer who carried out the work has advised that there was no second entrance to the garage so initially he quoted for four new locking straps but he managed to gain access to the garage without damaging them. He also found that there was no buttons on the existing control unit and the existing fobs were not coding up. So unless any customer has a unit which is like the kind we supply and fit we are not able to supply fobs and we don't provide the universal type fobs either. The engineer did explain this and suggested the new control unit was worst case scenario. We understand that finding the right tradesperson to do a job in your home isn’t always straightforward. Dawes Doors was created to connect you with experienced engineers" We do hope we are competitive on price and "on the day discounts can be applied" but on this occasion it seems not the case considering other prices you obtained. However, there is never any obligation neither is there a call out charge, so customers can decline and explore other options should they wish with absolutely no pressure from us.
