Thank you for your feedback, which we're sure will be useful for any potential customers hoping to compare these two types of walking holiday. There are indeed cost saving elements to hosting customers in company-owned facilities. At Contours, we strive to provide as much flexibility in our holidays as we can, as we feel that's the great strength of the self-guided mode of walking, so we book independent accommodations and our walkers and runners have their pick of all local eateries for lunches and dinners. We strongly believe in the value of that local flavour, but appreciate it all comes down to personal preference. We are glad to hear your holiday with us went seamlessly and that you enjoyed your hike through Cornwall!
