I am sorry to hear you had to cancel your order,  the item you ordered does state on line that it is available to order with a delivery time of up to 5 weeks, this time does not change if you opt to collect, that is purely an option to save on delivery cost, we will inform collection customers when the goods have arrived in the chosen store.  We try not to mislead customer, which is why we have estimated delivery times on all Furniture products, only home wares are all stocked items. I hope this helps.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience, unfortunately you went to collect your items before we had actually put your order on our system, which explains why no one could find it, once this has been done we then send you an email letting you know when and from which department to collect, as occasionally we have to transfer stock from one store to the other which can result in a few days delay,  we do not guarantee a same day collection, as with other collection services.  The  automated confirmation email just lets your know your order has been logged.

I hope this will not put you off shopping with us again, but please wait until you have received the time and place email from us.
