Good Afternoon Firstly may I take this opportunity to thank you very much for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are not entirely happy with your purchase from us in September 2012. I have reviewed the notes applicable to your order and cannot find any details regarding this matter. Every single door and all new products are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase against faulty material or manufacture, so long as it is treated in accordance with our instructions which can be found online, within our brochure or on the reverse of any printed paperwork. You are correct that in our Terms & Conditions that we state that if you have hung or cut your doors then we deem the products to have been accepted by you. This however protects us against claims for damage to doors that occurs as a result of fitting negligence rather than potential manufacturing faults. In these cases we would evaluate the situation, in the first instance, using customers photos then send out a Door Expert to carry out a viewing to ascertain the cause of the issue. If indeed the product were faulty then we would have replaced them under our standard Terms & Conditions. Good Afternoon Thank you very much for you feedback. Obviously we are are not entirely happy unless our customers are, so I have reviewed your order history with us. Back in September 2012 you placed an order with us via our website which consisted of a number of doors and associated ironmongery. I can see from the notes on this order that you subsequently placed an additional order with us for more product and that we collected your initial hinge order from you as requested and provided you with a full refund. I would consider all of our staff to be highly knowledgeable Door Experts but would like to apologise if in this instance you were wrongly advised. I trust everything was resolved? Good Afternoon Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. I have now reviewed the notes made by our Door Experts and spoken with our Door View team and have ascertained that you did have an issue with a sidelight that you purchased in August 2012. The last record we have was one made in August 12 where we left you a message on your voicemail and also with someone who answered your landline. It is my understanding from our notes that the sidelight was replaced free or charge.
