Good Morning,
Thank you for your review and I am sorry your item became faulty and you are unhappy with the reduction on your credit which does fall in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
For an item over 6 months old, the retailer has the right to make a reduction to any credit or refund in line with the "Fair Use" section of the act, and the act does state the below for any item between 6 months and 6 years old:
"Six months or longer: You must give the retailer one opportunity to repair or replace it before you can claim a partial refund, and the burden of proof is on you to prove the product is faulty."
The uplift number provided only has a limited time with which to return the item to us, once this has expired we will be unable to accept a return on the item.
