Hi, thank you for your feedback and we are glad that you found the online chat service useful. I will pass on your comments about the booking process to our web team to see what improvements can be made. We do try and cover most questions with the help text - which you can see if you hover over the ? mark, next to level of cover during the booking process. Student insurance may seem expensive but it does differ from standard insurance in the sense that we do not require any specific locks on your doors, it also covers people in shared accommodation and doesn’t require forceable entry for a claim to be made. The standard excess at £10 is also a lot lower than your standard household insurance.
