Hi, I’m sorry that you had a bad experience when renewing your son’s policy with us. We have recently changed our payment gateway and unfortunately this did mean that we were temporary unable to take payments via monthly instalments. The operator should have waived the admin fee as this isn’t something that could have been done online at the time. I have just refunded £29.16 to the card that payment was taken from (please allow up to 5 working days for this to show in your account), as a gesture of good will to cover the admin fee charged plus a discount to your policy due to the inconvenience.
