Thank you for your feedback on our Clothes and Carpet Moth Traps. The Traps will catch the adult male moths once they are active. As the moth season gets underway there will be more larvae pupating so as the weather gets warmer you will expect to see an increasing catch rate. The Traps are active for 12 weeks after opening and can be moved around areas where you suspect moths are present so long as they are at least 3 feet above floor level. Thank you for your custom. We are so sorry to read about your moth problem, we know how frustrating and distressing this can be. Our Traps catch the following types of Moth: •Webbing Clothes Moth, otherwise know as the Common Clothes Moth (Tineola bisselliella) •Case Bearing Moth, otherwise know as the Case Making Moth (Tinea pellionella) •White Shouldered House Moth (Endrosis sarcitrella) •Brown House Moth (Hofmannophila pseudospretella) If you are seeing moths flying around your home but not seeing any moths on the Traps it could be for the following reasons. 1) The moth you are targeting is not one of the Moths mentioned above. You may like to view our guide on Identifying Clothes and Carpet Moths. 2) Our Traps attract the active adult male moths and will help break the breeding cycle. It is the beginning of moth season and it might be that the moths you are seeing are females but the males have not yet hatched. The Traps are active for 12 weeks after opening. 3) If you have any other moth deterrents placed nearby they can distract from the Traps.
