It's disappointing to hear that you had an issue with the transfer of funds for your new car.
Usually after the lender has sent the funds they are received after 3 working days. If you pay for a "TT" or "Chaps" fee the funds can be sent the same day.
Sometimes things are delayed slightly when we have to do our formal dealer checks (on their bank account etc) but this should have been clearly communicated.
Once again we're sorry for the issues you faced and can assure you that next time things will run smoother. If you face any issues again please ask to speak with our Sales Director - Alex Hurst.

The funds were with car finance on the Monday I know that due to calling the lender the deal was set up with a main dealer and arranged knowing I would pick the car up on the Saturday morning that funds were to be transferred by 12 Friday then Friday all calls to car finance contact were ignored and they never returned my calls or emails until the week after !

I understand - that sheds a little more light on the situation.
Did you manage to get you car on the Saturday or was it the following Monday? Funds get programmed in and should be automatically sent when all checks are clear (which they sound like they were).

No I had to incurs expense and hire a car for the Monday to go to wrk and also take the afternoon off incurring more expense to drive to collect the car ! All due to slow poor service I am sorry to say I left messages and emails but never had response after the sale !
