Thank you for your feedback. Malabrigo yarns are hand-dyed, so some natural variation in color is to be expected, even within a single hank. Depending on the dye process, repeated handling or frogging can affect the yarn’s surface or sheen. While frogging is a normal part of knitting, hand-dyed fibers may sometimes show visual changes after being worked, which can make previously used yarn appear lighter than untouched sections. This can occur even when the yarn remains completely dry. When working with hand-dyed yarns, especially if you need to rework part of a project, alternating between two balls of yarn every few rows can help blend the colors more evenly and minimize noticeable shifts in tone.
