Why do you ship TOO EARLY?

I'm in upstate NY. Your instructions say to plant potatoes when soil temp is 70 degrees. It's 34 degrees AIR TEMP today, and it's SNOWING. Why did you ship now? I will NEVER buy anything from you...

Hi there, I apologize we shipped your potatoes at an inappropriate time. We do our best to estimate the best shipping time based on state. Our instructions indicate to plant when the soil reached 50ºF, 70ºF is a good temperature for warming them for greensprouting before planting. You can keep the potatoes in a cool place until planting time, but if this is not doable we would be happy to reship your order at a correct time of your choosing or refund the order instead. Feel free to contact us at orders@woodprairie.com or give us a call at 207-429-9765 so we can resolve this and make sure you are happy and successful with our potatoes. Thank you for your order.

I have already ordered from a different company who will ship at the end of May. A refund would be great.
