Hi , so sorry that we dropped the ball and failed to get back to you. My, mother, Megan is the office manager and you may reach her at megan@woodprairie.com. We go to great lengths to keep our Organic seed tubers as dormant as possible so that they will possess the highest possible vigor (equates to best growth and highest yield) when planted and grown out. We reccommend upon receipt that you maintain the seed tubers at room temperature until you see the sprouts emerging from the eyes. This is your proof that the tubers have broken dormancy and will be ready to grow and emerge fast when planted outside. Many potato varieties have smooth skins and the eyes are difficult to find until the sprouts emerge. Caleb
