We rarely receive complaints about the food provided during our tours in China but we are very sorry to hear of your disappointment. Each region you visited has their own speciality dishes which you would have been able to sample, but we are sorry if you found the food monotonous. A typical meal will consist of rice, several meat or fish dishes, two vegetable dishes and one soup dish. However, meat is usually cut into small pieces and mixed with vegetables and fish is not always available, especially outside the bigger cities. Please rest assured we have passed on your comments about the restaurant in Shanghai to our office in China. Thank you for your feedback. Kind regards, Lorraine, Wendy Wu Tours
