Thank you for your feedback regarding your purchase of our European Breakdown Cover policy. Your attention to the booking process is greatly appreciated. During the booking process, the birthdate field initially shows an example of how the date should be completed. If you click once you can type over the sample date, or click on the individual figures and edit them. The latter option is probably what you encountered. All policy transactions result in 2 emails: 1/ Payment receipt email which refers only to payment details and therefore does not contain any policy information. 2/ Policy confirmation email which includes your policy certificate, which is your proof of insurance, and the policy wording, which includes the emergency number on the front page. We reviewed the text message that was sent to you and you are correct that the confirmation mobile text message did not include the emergency number. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we have rectified this. We continually strive to make policy information and documents user-friendly. Your feedback will be included in this process.
