Thank you so much for your feedback. We haven't altered our Clothing Labels in many years. We use the Clothing Labels too and find that it is most often a hotter iron that prevents them from coming off in the wash. As iron setting vary, it is hard to advise on a setting but cotton is usually the best. If the Label peels after a wash or lifts at the corners, you should be able to cover them with the parchment paper and iron over them again.
