I have checked with our production team and they have confirmed our Carabiner Mugs are engraved and not printed.
Once the mugs have been engraved they are cleaned to ensure there is no metal dust left on the mug and the finish can give off a printed finish.
However, I have been assured the carabiner mugs are engraved.
