For being the 'preferred' option, I expect the pin function to not break. Unfortunately, many attendees bring their badges back with broken pins. The plastic itself is durable, however.

We have used several lanyard vendors in the past and noticed that many of the lanyards would fall apart fairly quickly. Because of that, we did a lot of research before fully committing to PC Nametag...
