Good Afternoon Thank you for taking the time to leave your product review on the Roto Food Cutter. With regards to your feedback as the attachments is run from the slow speed outlet this keeps you in total control of the ingredients being used but as with a manual grater a little pressure is required. As the different drums are used for different ingredients I have listed these for you to see, as stated in the user manual. Drum No 1 - For fine shredding :- chocolate, nuts, carrot and cheese. Drum No 2 - For coarse shredding :- chocolate, nuts, carrot and cheese. Drum No 3 - For thin slicing :- onion, cabbage, cucumber, carrot, apples, potato and chocolate. Drum No 4 - For thick slicing :- onion, cabbage, cucumber, carrot, apples, potato, chocolate and beetroot. Drum No 5 (Rasping drum) - For grating parmesan cheese and potato for German potato dumplings.
