The 9cm refers to the pot size not the size of the plant, nobody sells plants on size because its a natural product not a factory made, with each different strain of chilli plant growing differently, as such we refer to the stage the plant is at by mentioning the pot not the size, hope this helps to explain, any queries just contact us to help Steve
