Hello, thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the chain, it appears that your chain has come into contact with a chemical (even toiletries and body heat) that has caused the chain to tarnish slightly, and it is not uncommon in warm/hot weather. We would strongly adivse (as per our care card) that the chain is cleaned regularly with a silver dip, especially in summer. To give an example It's a bit like a silver picture frame, if not wiped regularly with a silver cloth it goes black. We are sorry that you have experienced this, but a good silver cleaner/dip i.e Goddards or the wipes that we sell on our website should bring your chain up like new.
