Thank you for your comments. Jet2 apply an automatically allocated seating and unfortunately this is done per person not per booking. Should you want to ensure seating together this is at cost and this is airline policy not that of Holiday Gems so is a situation over which we have no control. We can see no notes relating to your query prior to departure, however, our staff will always advise that requests may be made at the airport. Unfortunately, the airline chose to charge for the service at the airport but had this been done prior to departure would have incurred the same charges. Thank you for your comments. We are investigating the issue raised but will also advise that some airlines will charge an admin fee is the bags are not added at the time or booking. The charges also vary from airline to airline and the routes flown. There may also have been other contributing factors which increased the costs originally given, including a change of airline. Our after sales telephone lines have been extremely busy recently and we sincerely apologise for any excessive hold time you may have experienced. We do, however, refute that our staff would intentionally terminate a call.
