Following the fact you were sent documents, signed those documents and returned them you are then required to pay a cancellation charge should you decide you no longer wanted the car.
The process had gone as far as reservation of the car, a full mechanical check and valet. The funder had also processed your order.
You never actually paid the £750 cancellation fee as advised by a team leader. You'll find most if not all finance and credit agreements will have a cancellation charge.

I am further disappointed with your rude and disrespectful manner. I have aired my views and appear to be getting penalised for doing so. I spent so much time discussing the issue on the phone during my working day that it had huge implications on my actual job. I could never get hold of anyone when I wanted to speak to them and they would call back at an inconvenient time. I understand convenient times are different for everyone, but it took a huge proportion of my time to get the problem rectified.
I am extremely dissatisfied with Hippo and would advise other potential customers to look elsewhere. Disgraceful service!
