OK, but sometimes poor communication and they did not give any indication of the charges likely to be applied by some of the companies whilst negotiating on my behalf, which could have been avoided.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry we haven’t communicated as well as we should have. I understand that the team is now aware that you prefer to be contacted by email. Where possible we will email you, but on the occasions when we do need to speak to you we will do our very best to call you at a time that’s most convenient for you. Charges are often applied by creditors in the early stages of setting up a reduced payment plan whilst negotiations are taking place and I am sorry this was not explained to you sooner. As we reach agreement with creditors to freeze interest and charges (which isn’t always possible) and accept the lower payments we do ask them to refund those charges. I am pleased to say we have managed to get £60 of charges refunded by your creditors. The team is still negotiating with two remaining lenders to agree concessions on interest and charges.
